Joining the Cyber Solutions & Information Board (CSIB) as a volunteer means being part of a powerful movement to create a cyber-aware society and assist in fighting cybercrime across the country.

Our volunteers come from all backgrounds โ€” students, professionals, educators, and socially-driven individuals. Together, we aim to make the internet a safer place through awareness, investigation support, education, and community engagement.

๐Ÿ“ Important Note: All volunteers are active CSIB members (subscribed). No salary or legal authority is provided โ€” this is a community-based, impact-driven initiative.

๐ŸงญWhat Can CSIB Volunteers Do?

๐Ÿ”1. Cyber Awareness Campaigns

  • Help educate people about digital safety, scams, cyberbullying, online fraud, and more
  • Organize webinars, workshops, and school/college sessions
  • Distribute posters, booklets, and awareness material
  • Represent CSIB in your locality as a Cyber Awareness Volunteer

  • Support ongoing investigations under guidance (non-legal assistance)
  • Assist in gathering open-source information (OSINT)
  • Help document digital evidence
  • Support victims in understanding how to report a case
  • Raise red flags against scams, phishing attacks, and fake websites

  • Be the local voice of CSIB in your city or college
  • Promote cyber safety at local events, fests, and awareness weeks
  • Set up help desks or info booths during awareness drives
  • Build a small CSIB task team in your area
  • Share case studies, stories, and success reports

๐Ÿง 4. Content Creation & Research

  • Help us spread the message online and offline
  • Write articles, blogs, and guides related to cybersecurity
  • Design posters, infographics, reels, and short videos
  • Translate awareness content into local languages
  • Research cyber trends, threats, and digital safety solutions

๐Ÿ–ฅ๏ธ5. Technical Support (Advanced Volunteers)

For those with technical skills in IT, cybersecurity, or ethical hacking:

  • Participate in vulnerability testing simulations
  • Assist in digital forensics under expert supervision
  • Help build cyber tools or awareness websites/apps
  • Contribute to our Capture The Flag (CTF) challenges and quizzes

If you're an educator or love teaching:

  • Conduct awareness classes for kids, parents, and elders
  • Build e-learning material, quizzes, or video courses
  • Mentor students and new volunteers in cybersecurity basics

  • Promote CSIB's message online through your voice and creativity
  • Run CSIB social media pages as a content/admin volunteer
  • Share awareness messages regularly using CSIB resources
  • Engage youth with interactive cyber safety posts and challenges

  • Must be an active CSIB paid member
  • Age: Minimum 16 years
  • Passionate about cybersecurity and social impact
  • Good communication and basic digital knowledge
  • Willing to contribute time and effort voluntarily

Step 1: Join CSIB as a member (โ‚น1499 for 2 years)
Step 2: Receive your ID card and welcome kit
Step 3: Fill the Volunteer Interest Form (we'll send it after membership)
Step 4: Choose your role or activity area
Step 5: Start contributing and become a recognized Cyber Warrior
